Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is an edible mushroom native to Asia, known for its distinctive shaggy, white appearance resembling a lion's mane. It has been traditionally used in East Asian medicine for centuries in countries like China, Japan, Korea, and India for general health, cognitive support, and gastrointestinal benefits. The active compounds, primarily hericenones and erinacines, along with polysaccharides and phenolic compounds, may stimulate nerve growth, provide antioxidant effects, and support brain health. Our products are derived from high-quality Lion's Mane mushrooms processed into powders, capsules, or extracts.

All our Kratom products have either real cane sugar or agave nectar. We do not use sucralose or lab-made sweeteners. We are a wellness product and using those ingredients would be a contradiction.

Our canned Kratom products have 50mg of Mitragynine (67mg Kratom leaf extract). We use full spectrum kratom extract (mitagynine) and not kratom powder to make our products. Full spectrum kratom extract to maximize feeling.

Kratom strains are typically categorized by vein color and origin: Red Vein: Often associated with relaxation and pain relief. Green Vein: Known for balanced effects, like mild energy and mood enhancement. White Vein: Commonly used for focus and stimulation. Yellow/Gold Vein: A fermented variant that may offer a mix of effects. Strains can vary by region (e.g., Maeng Da, Bali, Borneo), but effects are subjective and depend on dosage and individual factors.

Powder: Finely ground leaves, versatile for mixing into teas or foods. Capsules: Pre-measured powder in easy-to-swallow form for convenience. Extracts: Concentrated forms (e.g., liquid or resin) with higher potency, ideal for experienced users but requiring smaller doses. Always start with lower amounts to assess tolerance.

Common methods include; Toss and wash; Mix powder with water and swallow. Tea: Brew leaves or powder in hot water (avoid boiling to preserve alkaloids). Capsules: Take with water. Avoid mixing with alcohol or other substances. Start low and go slow.

Dosage varies by individual factors like weight, tolerance, and desired effects. General guidelines: Beginner: 1-2 grams. Moderate: 3-5 grams. Experienced: 5-8 grams (not exceeding 10 grams per session). Do not exceed daily limits and take breaks to avoid tolerance. These are not medical recommendations—consult a doctor.

Effects typically onset within 10-30 minutes and last 2-6 hours, depending on dosage, strain, and metabolism. Factors like empty stomach or hydration can influence this.

When used responsibly, many users report positive experiences, but it's not without risks. The FDA has expressed concerns about potential dependency, contamination, and interactions with medications. All our products are lab-tested for purity, alkaloids, and contaminants like heavy metals or salmonella. Not for use by pregnant/nursing individuals, those under 18, or with certain health conditions.

Common mild effects: Nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, or constipation. Rare but serious: Dependency with heavy use, withdrawal symptoms, or interactions leading to seizures or liver issues. Overdose is possible at high doses—seek medical help if needed.

As of 2026, kratom is legal federally in the U.S., but banned or restricted in some states (e.g., Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Rhode Island, Vermont, Wisconsin) and localities. It's also regulated under Kratom Consumer Protection Acts (KCPA) in states like Utah, requiring labeling and testing. We do not ship to banned areas. Check local laws before purchasing. Internationally, it's banned in countries like Australia and Thailand.

Yes, all VURV products are lab-tested by third-party laboratories to ensure purity, accurate alkaloid content (including mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine), and absence of contaminants such as heavy metals, pesticides, or microbial pathogens like salmonella. We adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and provide Certificates of Analysis (COAs) upon request for transparency and quality assurance. This testing is conducted on every batch to meet or exceed industry standards and any applicable regulations, such as those under Kratom Consumer Protection Acts (KCPA) in participating states.

VURV promotes mindful consumption by educating consumers on responsibility, enabling safe enjoyment of its benefits, preventing misuse and its consequences, enhancing satisfaction through mindful appreciation, and supporting informed decision-making. We also encourage further research on Kratom, recommending resources like an article on "The Good, The Bad, and The Maybe about Kratom"  The good, the bad, and the maybe, about kratom

The legal age for consuming Kratom in the United States can vary depending on the state and local regulations. We prefer that you are 21 or older. However, some states may have their own regulations in place. Please check your state and local laws. It is important to note that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved kratom for any medical use, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has listed it as a "Drug of Concern." As a result, several states and local jurisdictions have enacted their own regulations regarding kratom, including age restrictions.
